Please restore to me the years
That the locusts have consumed
And restore to me the fragrance
Of a Christian’s sweet perfume
That is scented with a witness
Of a great and mighty king
And a hope that springs eternal
Overcoming anything
Lord forgive me of my failures
Of my sins and all my fears
Would you resurrect my spirit
As you wipe away my tears
